K9 Blair, the first Bloodhound in the history of the Frederick Police Department was donated through the Unsung K9 Hero Project by Mark Boggs, Owner of Boggs Environmental Consultants, Inc.

As the donor, Mr. Boggs was given the privilege of naming the K9.  He selected "Blair" in honor of his younger brother Granville "Blair" Boggs of whom was attending college at Glenville State University in hopes of a career in law enforcement at the time of his tragic death as a result of a canoeing accident at the age of 21.

K9 Blair and her handler - Officer Sheena Yohe make a fantastic team!
